"I've got Call Waiting on my phone line. How do I prevent hangups?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Call Waiting can be disabled for a single call by dialling *70 in front of the number you want to call. Anyone trying to dial your number while you're on this call will get a busy signal. Regular Call Waiting operation will be restored when you hang up. For Windows 95 Dialup Networking: 1. Run the "My Computer" icon on your desktop, and from there run "Control Panel." 2. Double click on "Modems" then press the "Dialing Properties" button. 3. Near the bottom of the "My Locations" tab there's a check box marked "This location has call waiting." Check it, and put *70, into the field called "To disable it, dial..." 4. Press the OK buttons to save your choices, and close the Contro Panel.
