Windows XP Home/Professional Edition

Press your "Start" button, then choose "Control Panel", "Internet Options" 
A new window will appear. Single click the "Connections" tab.  Then press "Setup".
 
A new window will appear with the title "Welcome to the New Connection Wizard". Single Click the "next" button. 

Choose "Connect to the Internet", and single click "Next". 

Choose "Set up my connection manually", and single click "Next". 

Choose "Connect using a dialup modem", and single click "Next". 

In the space provided for ISP Name, type "Interactions" (without the quotation marks), and single click "Next". 

In the space provided for phone number, type 745-7920, and single click "Next". 

Choose "Anyone's use", and single click "Next". 

In the space provided for User name, type your User Name as provided.
In the space provided for Password, type your password as provided.
In the space provided for Confirm Password, re-type your password as provided. 

Check the box marked "Use this account name and password when anyone connects to the Internet from this computer".
Check the box marked "Make this the default Internet Connection".
Uncheck the box marked "Turn on Internet Connection Firewall for this connection", and single click "Next". 

Check the box marked "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop".  Single Click "Finish" .
 


Setting up Email. 

Press your "Start" button, then choose "All Programs", "Outlook Express". This will open the Outlook Express email software. 

At the top of the Outlook Express Program, press "tools" and choose "accounts". A new window will appear 

Single click "Add", then "Mail". A new window will appear. 

Type your name in the space provided, and single click "Next".

Type your email address in the space provided, and single click "Next". 

In the space provided for Incoming mail server name, type the following... 

mail.nfld.com 

In the space provided for Outgoing mail server name, type the following... 

mail.nfld.com 

Single click "Next". 

Type your username and password into the appropriate spaces provided, and single click "Next". 

Single Click the "Finish" Button. Single click the "Close" button on the Internet account window. 

Close Outlook Express with the "X" in the top right hand corner. 

You have now finished the entire InterActions setup.  Please re-start your computer to have the settings take effect.  When your computer is restarted, press "start", then the Internet Explorer icon, then press the 'dial' button.  If you experience any trouble, call our tech-support line at 745-4638.
